ENGINEERED WOOD

Engineered wood is a processed form of wooden flooring that consists of more than one layer. The top layer of the engineered plank consists of hardwood while the lower core layers are made up of spruce and pine wood. This combination makes it virtually impossible for the wooden flooring to expand or contract as per the change in the atmospheric temperatures. This is one of the primary reasons for preference towards engineered wood especially in locations where the climate change is drastic.
